TINOS VILLA: DISCREET LUXURY
Unique Vacation Rentals on Tinos Island
WELCOME TO TINOS VILLA
Situated in the white Cycladic village of Kardiani, on less-visited and beguiling Tinos Island, Tinos Villa looks to the southwest, embracing magnificent vistas of the surrounding islands – Syros, Kythnos, Siphnos, Paros, Naxos, Delos, and Mykonos. The wide blue expanse of the Aegean Sea spreads out in a complex weave of constantly changing reflections and shades almost from the doorstep. The villa is located in the centre of a traditional island village. There are beautiful beaches nearby, along with scenic walking trails along ancient stone pathways. The house is constructed in the typical island style, of thick stone walls and airy arches that provide cool shelter from the summer heat. Kardiani is a village of abundant water. From the terrace of the house, one can hear the constant music of a nearby gushing spring. Close to the property, there are bountiful organic gardens which offer fresh produce for your holiday kitchen, and if you wish, you may engage the services of a Cordon Bleu-trained chef to cook for you. You are welcome to come and stay with us, not as a customer, but as a friend. Rather than being a typical vacation house, Tinos Villa is an embracing and exceptional experience. For anyone who is looking for a transporting experience that engages the senses, in an authentic Greek village setting, Tinos Villa offers a unique and beautiful opportunity.

ISLAND OF SURPRISES
Exceptional Tinos
UNIQUE TINOS
Wild and raw and mountainous, Tinos was shaped by vast forces of time and the hard sweat and labour of humans who have inhabited this land for millennia. The night sky overhead is thick with a million stars, and the Milky Way, as seen from the village, is so far undiluted by our terrestrial light.
Tinos is located in the Cyclades Archipelago, between the nearby islands of Andros, Delos, and Mykonos. Syros, the region’s captial, faces the village from across the strait. From the island’s highest point (727 metres – 2400 feet) steep slopes and valleys, terraced with perhaps 10,000 kilometres of hand-built walls, fall away towards the island’s coast and its many beautiful beaches. Ancient pathways, as well as modern roads, connect some forty-five inhabited white villages. Hundreds of remarkable geometrically patterned stone pigeon houses – the oldest dating from Venetian times – punctuate the landscape.
